white powdered mildew on batch of weed.HELP

Right so I got a batch of weed from my dealer only to find that some of the buds has small areas covered in a white powdery mould or fungi ,I was wondering if the weed is safe to smoke? Since I mean ,the marijuana is heated and burned so the mould or fungi burns as well ,does toxins or poisonous chemicals transfer through the smoke? Will it be harmful to my lungs? Or would the fungi/mould just die and have no effect once burned ?..useful and knowledgable replies will be highly appreciated thanks

 

call your dealer back and ask for non-moldy weed.

 

I definitely can't do that ..that's why I'd like to know if its safe or not to smoke

Uhm, the flame doesn't destroy everything. If it would you wouldn't get stoned right. The burned mold and it's possible unhealthy chemicals (depends on the kind of fungus) will get in your system.

sometimes it's just too damned moldy to smoke, depends on how bad you want a buzz, lol

You don't want to smoke mold. You might not get sick, but if you do you will be very sick. You should find a new dealer, it is really not difficult at all to dry weed properly after harvest. The only reason not to is laziness or your trying to sell wet weed that weighs more.

When I was a kid there was this urban myth that if you molded your pot with an orange peel it would increase the potency...yeah I never tried that again LOL

 

it's pretty obvious that you shouldn't smoke it.

when i was young and dumb, i smoked some moldy weed. it probably would have been a good idea to cut off the noticeably white parts.

the flame likely doesn't destroy the mold spores. spores are very hardy. i don't recall getting sick, but i think you would get REALLY sick if you did (as stated above)

not smoking it is the wisest thing to do. and not buying weed from that guy anymore.
