I don't find that to be necessarily true; I've sample around 7 or 8 different "strains" of cubensis and while some did have noticeable differences, I found that most gave similar trips. That being said, I did find that the Thailand varieties tended to be very visual and generally all around more potent.
I have personaly grown and ate amazon, tresure coast, ecuador, and guadalajara "strains". If I laid out mushrooms from each strain next to each other, you would not be able to tell which is which, as they all pretty much look the same and all gave more or less the same trip. I have now come to the opinion that different "strains" is just a marketing thing and that it really makes no difference.
its because its the same chemical in all the shrooms, at least all the ones ive seen available online, they are all Psilocybe cubensis strains. some just have more or less.. ive definitely have had shrooms that are better then others.. and i imagine how you grow it has to do with the strength, as for most growers, some get better results because of different growing techniques... However, if you do some research, you can find statements of different strains being more potent then others.. such as this: "P. Cubensis Mazatapec" - "The Maz is said to be very visual and prized for it's spiritual connections." ( hxxp://www.lilshopofspores.com/cgi/display.cgi?item_num=2120 ) i like the a strain, its easy to grow, effective, and the mushrooms themselves are pretty cool looking during there fruiting stage
Florida white F+, usually just called F+... is one of the most visual mushrooms that you can get in the spore market.. i just ordered Florida F+ and A Strain, sweeeeet peacee
They're all about the same, really. Maybe you just don't get many visuals. If so, consider yourself lucky. Visuals can get very distracting.
most of them only contain psilocybin and psilocin so it wont matter, they will just have different amounts of them so for some psilocybe mushrooms you will have to eat more but it will be the same
