i might be visiting NYC soon but i might not have a home. the village obviously aint the place it used to be...im wondering if there is a part of town nowadays where vagrants are common/welcome. i just might need a place to stay and i was wondering if these places existed...thanks
vagrants are not welcome in NYC. You can live out on the street, I see it all the time. But, don't come here without at least a stay at a hostel. You'd be much better off. There are a few hostels here. very cheap.
You can try the homeless shelters if you're really hard up they're about $7 bucks a night and that usually includes dinner and breakfast, but you'll have to put up with the shady characters that go with it. Bustramp
good luck mac. if you have no absolute way of getting shelter, drop me a line. i might be able to offer you my couch for as few days.
Vagrants and homeless people swarm the streets of New York nightly. Maybe get a hotel in New Jersey and take PATH.
