Read the sticky on this board to find out good smoking techniques. But, no, you can't smoke it like herb. Sometimes you can get some in headshops, sometimes you have to order from places online. I order online myself, some people prefer to just go to headshops. It's your preference, really, though ordering online is probably cheaper.

Um, ok.. I kind of figured that. But how do you recognize a head shop? I really don't know if there's anything where I live which has stuff I could use to get high. I doubt it. I've checked the garden shops, they don't sell the right kind of morning glory seeds even. I'm sure they purposely don't stock it because this is their little goody-goody little Christian town where no store can sell anything that could be potentially "misused". I do know there are pipes at one store in town but certainly none of these plants I'm reading about.
The problem is, most headshops don't carry Salvia. You really have to look hard into it; that's why I just order online. Headshops are always characterized by: pipes out the ass, lighters, screens, "Formula 420" if they have it (lmao), selling cigarettes and other random tobacco paraphernalia and such. Most have trippy themes and tons of glassware. Chances are, if the store has a sign in it that says something like "Don't talk to us about your illegal shit, we don't want to hear about it," then it's probably a head shop.
there are so many nice vendors online, and if ya don't have CC a money order is usually OK... & y'know 20 bucks or so is not all that much to "risk"... (& i've nver had an order NOT come through...) & live plants of Salvia divinorum can be had for under $15, & once you get it growing in new orleans climate, it'll end up taller than you are & U-shaped branches begging to become "clones" ("air-layer" method to produce daughter plants, mmmkay?)... & what you do with shopping-bags full of home grown leaf might be up to you... (hint: some folks find smoking plain dried leaf (or quidding a handfull fresh leaves) to be quite enough for them - & if you need something a little stronger, the active principle is easy to extract into alcohol or acetone...) 'nuff said...
I just ordered from salviasite.com and got a gram of 10x for 13 dollars..... I've never tried it before, hope it works
