Where It Stops

  1. Lovely to be strange
When pale ivory shines angry red
Good to know god still cares
    What a super guy
He spites, smites and doesn't even break a sweat
But enough about the minor characters
This is about not knowing who you are
    Or where you are
Or if that face in the mirror isn't just a mirage
Who can tell you what you percieve is incorrect
When it comes to such a personal assesment
Only faith deeper than Falkner will do
Grainy images of past glory are tragic
Dirty rag flags flap in the wind
Trying to escape where the rest is history
Instead of hanging solemn in grotesque monument
    Where has the time gone?
Was I really that deep in the well two years ago?
Things are twisting into sideshow farce
I don't wish for glass appology
    Only cemented solution
This is not a catered affair
    All provisions must be pre-arranged
    Sorting out jellybean clarity
So it can all be tossed into the grinder
