Where is your happy place?????

In your mind just fantasizing about people & places,& things where would you like to be or go???

I would like to be on a beach in Cancun.

 

The rugged mesas of elk country.

 

I'm a hometown boy and a city boy.

I want to go nowhere. Never had any exotic travelling fantasies.

 

My happy place is my home.

 

My greatgrandma used to say:

"Boa romaria faz quem em sua casa fica em paz."

Tr. He who stays at home in peace makes a good pilgrimage.

 

Okay that sounded lame.

Thats not a happy place. Thats an escape.

I dont really think a happy place should be an escape...Thats why I said home.

 

How is home not an escape?

 

Maybe it is to you, but its definitely not to me. Sometimes I just do wanna leave home and everything and go away somewhere...on my own. Now that would be an escape.
It takes a lot more courage to stay.

Like me. It's easy to wish to stay put when you move from place to place in your childhood.

 

In my opinion, home is just as much an escape as going anywhere else. It is the safest place one can stay and therefore an escape. What is the courage in that?
