Personally, mine is the beach. In fact, if I had a choice, I would be there right now watching the sun rise and set.
Well, I don't have an absolute favourite place, but I dig mountains. Not literally of course. We don't have them here, but I just get wild of the landscapes they make. Behind every hill another view. I do prefer mediocre mountains with trees and stuff, though I love high snowy mountains as well.
Camping is great! I mostly camp at festivals though. I live in a country with no large nature reserves unfortunately, it also can't get flatter then the north of the Netherlands, where I live, except for the ocean perhaps. Although this landscape also does have something, it's just not really interesting. No chance on getting lost here haha.
Camping is great, indeed! Most of my friends don't enjoy camping, so I rarely find someone to go with. When I do, though, I have such a great time . So, it is very flat where you live? I like to see flat places every once and a while for the change of scenery. It is like being on a different planet because I am so used to seeing mountains on either side of myself. I love the forests where I live, but I would much rather be near the ocean.
The beach is awesome as well. To see the actual rounding of the earth is a trip of it's own. I suppose everyone gets used to the surroundings they live in. If I'd live between the mountains now I felt the urge to explore every one of them  Living on a tropical island seems fantastic as well, tropical forest behind you and the ocean in front. Maybe a mountain in the middle of the island, haha. I think I prefer our forests above tropical forests though.
Tropical islands are beautiful! I would give anything to visit one. You know, they do seem like the best of both worlds, seeing as they are a mix of the forest and the ocean. How about a tropical island with a forest behind, an ocean in front, and a mountain in the middle of the island with nontropical forests within it ? That would be a place to see. I am not sure whether I like regular forests or tropical forests better. They are both nice. If I lived on a tropical island, I would live on coconuts and make my clothing out of the leaves of palm trees and grass .
Haha, sounds great but a little bit over the top really . I'm pretty fond of a regular forest with all the aspects. Wildlife like deers, foxes and so on and winters and stuff. That's also pretty lame here. We never loose any toes in winter and if we have an inch of snow two times in the wintermonths we should be glad 'cause more we don't get. The island should have fresh water in the middle though, and a waterfall.
Yeah, well, it may sound over the top to you, but I swear I am going to one day live in an area just like that . A waterfall? That would be nice. I don't know why I didn't think of that! Be thankful you don't get a lot of snow. We have been getting so much here lately (due to global warming, not normal circumstances), and we are all tired of not being able to enjoy the Spring by spending time outside. Snow can be wonderful to look at, but I am not a fan of frigid weather.
Oh, I do! I haven't experienced wintry hardships for years. It was also pretty popular here to iceskate on the canals in the wintertime, but last few winters were so warm we just have an extra long autumn. Hey, we should change from house
You could be in a forest near the country ! Asmodean, we should trade homes! I have to warn you though, my bedroom is not the cleanest. You'd have to walk through piles of cds to navigate .
my favourite place is my room. its the only place that belongs to me. it smells so good. just sitting in there music on, high... best times ever
Same here. :3 That nice breeze when your standing up high (distance, hehehe not the other high), the sun blazing down on you. Man that takes me back...
I don't know... I kind of like being in a city because there's always plenty to do, but being out in the country and around the forests is really nice as well. I haven't had too much experience with mountains - or even hills, as it is REALLY flat here - so I can't really pick mountains... And I just don't like beaches. I don't know. It's hard for me to choose between the city and the country.
