Here's a little game we can play. I'll post up an image, and you need to guess where it is (country & locality if possible). No one can post another image until the prior one is correctly identified. Please don't be too obscure. Ok, here's the first one to get you going.
It looks like some sort of Hippie carnival festival thing in a tropical area (has palm trees atleast, so probably coastal) where the people are White and some are fat and they speak English. Its somewhere in the United States along the coast. I don't know where though.
somewhere in australlia? the tropical side of the continent?? ahahahha nimbin australlia the N.S.W.,territory(new south wales), became famous after the 1973 aquarious festival there.... ahahahhahhaha to easy skipper.... or is that still to obscure? want a street? cullen street, nimbin,NSW, australlia... <======= dances a jig an waits for next photo....
Congrats Hippiehillbilly! On the nose. Have you been there or did you peek in my journal? hehe... (there's even a Nimbin sign above the Hemp Embassy sign) OK, someone else can post up a photo now!
well we knew it was aussie, the roo bars on the vans,,, the fukked up way they are dressed, the turtle n lizard shit on buildings,,,, obviously a more tropical sorta place cuz of the trees n shit ,,,,,,,,,,, then we saw the hemp thing n googled it....
come on skip you know id never read your journal.. it just took me a minute an 22 seconds to type this//..
humm, my guess is China (duh!), but I wouldn't have a clue where. And why the parade of uniforms? Looks like street cops (maybe it's the white gloves?). I'd say Beijing, but the sky is too clear...
Bird, I'm thinking Tibet. The buildings are two colors, Portola style, so Lhasa? The Chinese lettering on everything fooled me, as I focused on that. But it's now part of China, so I guess Tibetan culture is being ignored as usual.
Congratulations Skip! This is indeed Lhasa, Tibet and it is indeed very close to the Potala Palace. It was sad however to see how the Chinese wanted to show their military superiority. Next photograph, anyone?
