Where Else Do You Post?

I'm looking to expand my internet forum horizons. Where else do you guys post? What forums/websites do you frequent?

I also post in a few politics boards once in a while. I particularly like politicsforum.org. It's old.

currently, nowhere. i've been on several other forums in the past, but they were all either lame(r) or are now defunct, because they were lame.

 

^ for the record, i did not register the word "lame." i just tried to put an "r" in parentheses to indicate "lamer" and apparently that is what this forum software does with that.

Nowhere else really. Usually I surf the internet and google random things, and then my ADD kicks in and I can't focus on absorbing whatever it is that I googled.

Oh, wait, sometimes I fart around on IMDB. I have an account on bodybuilding.com, but I don't go there much at all.

 

Can you seriously not link to external sites here? How do you guys like... share links and whatnot? I apologize if this thread violates some sort of very fragile rule. Moderators, feel free to delete it, if you exist.

People link to external sites all the time, but I think they are usually relevant to a conversation.

If you started a thread titled "Fuck This Place! Post Here Instead!", it would probably be deleted.

Forums are hard to come by. They're either too slow or too fast with not much I between.

I came to HF from teenspot. I outgrew the teenage site at the ripe age of 21 I was told that HF was a much more adult audience but the way I conduct myself and carry on should fit well over at HF. So I came to HF. Did I ever fit? Hell no. Fuck no. I think I've just been... accepted or like you know, something like that. Tolerated? But only by a few I guess.

I am also on a Juggalo affiliated site and few sports forums but that's really it. I've tried many others though, they just aren't what I'm looking for a guess and the ones that are, really just flooded with posts making it extremely difficult to try and follow.

Few years ago I dabbled around alternative sites. I have a profile over at Suicide Girls that I still use, I had vampire freaks and gone gothic type stuff too. I've outgrown that kind of scene now.

Another forum I regular is a swinging forum on a site that I use. I read, laugh, that's about it though. I've contacted many people on the site but eh, I got nothing to say on the forum.

 

I am on a couple of Gun and Guitar Forums and My home town (where I grew up ) has a Great Forum

 

Thank you all for your responses. Unfortunately, you did not provide me any great options. I would post on a juggalo forum, but I don't think they'd accept a hippie like me.

The first forum I ever signed up for was overgrow.com when I was a kid trying to keep my parents from finding out about my marijuana grow. The servers of that site were seized by the Canadian mounted police and the site was never to be seen again. I kept in touch with the friends I made on OG for a while through another forum that were created from its ashes called Planet Ganja. But many of its members were scared that the Canadian government had their personal info, and many never bothered returning to a pot site again for fear of being busted. I did post on those for a while until it got worse and worse as more people left. Then I found this place.

 

Sometimes I go on reddit. I kind of hate the format of reddit for the most part, but there are a couple of good subs there like indiemakeupandmore that I like to check out.

 

I don't exactly share your opinion because I have gotten some okay guidance from that site, however I can definitely understand why one would say that.
