usually u need to get an artists license to sell it on the street or at festivals..etc you dont HAVE to have one. but i think its required so you may get in trouble. dont remember exactly but just somthin to look into.

You don't - by definition you have to be starving to be an artist. If you ever end up making a decent amount of money from your work, you're automatically a sell-out.
true,, but what if an artist has no other means of having money to "eat".. or, its all the artist wants to do with their time and life, and eventually their art is being demanded and paid for? My future i KNOW will consist of me creating as many types of arts as i can. not just creating on paper or canvas etc. I will ALWAYS be me. for now, people in general will always need $. gracias, haffa nice dey. -my word
umm... art gallery? why sell it on ebay or on the streets for pennys when you can sell it at a gallery for dollars with sales ppl pushing ur work. this one artist or not really an artist but someone who got a 10dollar art set as a gift and drew something on the card-board box than took it to a gallery, lol. mofo did shitload of watercolor artwork, and out of all those he sold the one on the cardboard box for 500!!! its shit money at a gallery but shit, mofo made 500! house took 35% or something? not really sure... tho anyway, this fool made money. crazy...
have like 10portfolios minimum and best of the best. get a resume made! now, take your work and go visit any gallerys near you. hit up every single one of em. hit up 100 if you have to!!! it is your job, right? livin da dream~ baby! wish u the best of luck!
