Where do you find hash?

Ive smoked hash in the US once....when I was a newbie smoker and I just didnt know....otherwise ive smoked it in Barcelona and in Israel (where i walked around the street just asking for it and it was that easy to find) but here...i just cant find it, and every time I get a lead, it ends up being opium....people seem to think hash is a gooie black ball...which it is not...so where do you eastcoasters get your hashish? hook it up

 

Actually, it can be, and often is.

Opium? I don't think so, mate. No dealer would bother doing that, it wouldn't make them any money. This is an urban myth, and one that I am yet to see for myself. After fifteen years of pretty active involvement in the smoker's scene, I'm inclined to believe it simply does not happen.

That squidgy black ball of stuff is indeed hashish; it is probably either from Pakistan of Afghanistan. Both of which are often blinding shit.

Rest assured, it is all hasish, just different ways of making it, and different strains it comes from.

Your only problem with buying hashish anywhere that you do not know the root source for is it is likely to be contaminated. Only ever smoke hash when you KNOW where it has come from.

I dunno, im speaking from pretty recent experience, im sure you know that opium is also a black putty substance...and twice already i dead ended with opium, the hash ive smoked is more like a brick that comes off as a dust powder when you break it up

 

I've only seen hash around these parts a couple times this past summer. It was legit afghan, with the gold "freedom to afghanistan" stamp and all. Besides that, all the hash I've had was made by me and my friends. There's just not much of a market for it around here I guess.

 

I usually smoke Skunk, and am new to smoking hash. Tell me is Rocky and Pollen a type of hash? We might call it by different names here in the UK.

 

^I don't know the UK slang, but I know that pollen is slang for Kief, and kief is unpressed hash (unpressed trichomes).

 

Nope, it does. A lot of afghan/paki hash contains opium. Remember people, most afghan is actually very so-so hash, not as great as it's reputation would have you believe. Not saying all but much of it is only ok quality. When I've been in asia, the price of heroin or opium is usually lower than that of good hash. Far from the dealer not making any money off it, the people producing it are bulking it up with opium as it's cheaper than the hash itself and while it may not be serious amounts it's very common practice in many countries to cut the lower grade black hashish with opium.

In the UK, pollen refers to blond Moroccan hash made by sieving the buds through a fine silk screen, usually has an almost sickly sweet flavour to it. May also be called caramella. It's rarely as knock you on your arse as some of the more heavyweight hand rubbed asian varieties but the taste of a proper decent moroccan is unbeatable IMO, hands down my fav smoke. Consistency isn't always the best judge as some very hard pressed stuff you need to hold a flame to can be great and some softer stuff can be so-so. When you've got something half decent you'll know Not familiar with the term rocky but have heard people from the north using it so maybe it's a northern thing?

 

Here in Spain its actually hard to find anything other then hash. I buy mine in a hash bar...

 

Think of things in the long run and of course it's going to make the dealer money. Just think of how physically addictive opium is!!!

Not to rub it in but I can find a couple grades of bubble and some 'chocolate' marble hash, smells kinda like dark chocolate.

 

you can make your own hash from your sticks and stems by soaking them in alcohol.
its more low grade, but it will get you stoned that is for sure

I can also get high quality hash for $20 a gram, just have to know the right people

 

20$ is expensive for hash.... i get a gram for 5$, same as weed

 

I've never seen hashish anywhere. I get medical mj at the dispensaries and all I've ever been able to get is mj and kief.

How does hash differ from kief, btw?

 

well i hate to break it to you but if you're getting it that price you're either smoking shit or the person you're buying it off has shit for brains.
