Where are we supposed to go to harass Christians?

Well some devout Christians on the forums turn their nose up to anyone who doesn't share their same beliefs & claim that "following Jesus is the only way to go, grrrr, the rest of you will burn in hell, yadda, yadda." And I'm aware that it's not ALL the Christian folks who come here that lash out like that; but there are some people who are totally hard-core.....those people scare me.

Someone said "It is perfectly possible that she fucked some dude before marrying Joseph" then is it wrong that I react on that by talking about the genealogies in the Bible? Why do persons (or some of them) that totally go for Jesus scare you? Whatever it might be, we don't intend to scare people.

I said SOME people; I wasn't pointing fingers at anyone in particular. And I'm aware that there are a lot of nice Christian people out there. But along with that, it also comes with its share of hypocrites (as does any other religion). It just freaks me out that there are some people who lash out at anyone who questions or doubts the existance of god or Jesus. These particular "Christians" are like "oh, if you don't believe in Jesus or god's message, then you'll be condemned to hell." These people don't even fucking know me & it's like they think they have the supremacy to determine my own fucking destiny. Pfft...yeah, so much for preaching "Christian" ideals. And for the friendly folks...well, then... it's good to know that you guys are living the way that Jesus intended. That's def. something that I don't look down upon.

 

I didn't take it personally prism, use used a certain discussion as example.

And about hypocracy you're right, even more so: it was unnacceptable for Jesus:

"Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye." (matthew 7:1-5)

To be honoust, we are all hypocrits sometimes. At least I know of myself I don't always act or speak as I should.

But still I am not afraid speaking about that Jesus said that He is the way, the truth and the life.

 

Oh, ok, well that's good. I guess it's just important to keep an open mind & whatnot.

Why do you want to harass Christians in particular? I'm interested...do you go to the Islam, Hindu ( if there is one?), Wiccan and Buddhist forums and harass them.......

Is it because it's easy or perhaps trendy to harass Christians?

 

Probably has something to do with Christianity being the established majorities' cultural and moral directive, thus pissing him off...

Aggression can be ultimately be reduced to a fragile ego.

If I were the vengeful and judgmental type, I'd harass christains, in exchange for all the times fundementalist who clog science threads with attempts to force everything to fit thier religious opinions.
Not to mention how, all over the internet, "missionaries" insinuate themselves in places they are not wanted, yet christain boards generally allow no one to say anything that is not christianity confirming.
And then there's all those times I get woke-up by some Jesus freak who bangs on my door to harass me.
A lot of Christians ask for it; they dish it out enough!

So it's perhaps understandable that some come here to vent. After all, people are people- and immaturity is as common among not-christians has christians.

I don't ever remember lashing out at anyone, but for a few posts I've made in this forum, I've gotten flamed... not literally, like so many of you tell me I will be (har har har ).

You don't scare me, I hate all religions equally.
