Where are all the manga fans here?

Any other manga fans out there? I'd like to keep this thread from sinking off the page incase other fans happen onto this site.

yu yu hakusho (is this even right)

and a few others. shaman king was def. my favorite though.

 

You will have to be far more specific considering Anime is the word for all animations Japanese or not, in Japan.

 

I noticed that the titles that you mentioned are all shonen manga. Have you ever checked out some of the more adult oriented manga? I don't mean hentai (porn) manga by the way. There are a lot of very good serious drama mangas out there that are just as good, if not better, than any movies hollywood could ever make.

 

i'm not into the too-serious stuff. I like the kiddy style. I've read some other more adult manga, can't remember any names, though. I like it, especially those with heavy action and blood and stuff (haha), but I prefer the kiddy stuff. Besides, I like the premise of stuff like onepiece, naruto, shaman king, etc.

... and didn't they turn shaman king and naruto into an english 'anime' ? yea i think i saw that one time and it sucked ass. just thought i'd throw that in.

 

Naruto is definately out as a feature-length film, it came out whilst I was living in Japan, aswell as Full-Metal Alchemist, but I don't know if it's been translated.

 

Both have been translated and released.
