when you were young, what did you wanna be?

me? i wanted to be an accountant. i know, im a freak.

now, i wanna be a principal. or a caterpillar

 

when I was little I wanted to be a mommy and now I am.

 

i always wanted to be a vet when i was a kid

now i realize that is way too much fucking school!

 

I've wanted to be a truck driver. A lawyer. A coroner. A crypto zoologist. An english teacher. And a writer.

 

all the jobs i wanted to be never existed, like a matress tester, or pro b.s.'er. i keep looking around tho, gotta be optamistic.

 

Airline stewardess, gymnist in the olympics,teacher, nurse or pediatrician, clown in a circus..

Stewardess...gets to travel alot. I do that now riding a bus cross country
gymanist...gave up that idea when I started having kids
teacher....been a substitute teacher before
nurse/pediatrician...I'm a nurse's assistant now
clown...life sucked when I was little and figured clowns were always happy & made people laugh.

I still am young.. All the career choices ive gone through are as follows.. marine biologist, secret service guy, police officer, engineer, there are probably some more

 

Well, I was different than most....now that I'm older I wish I'd had other goals....but it was my life....


I was adopted at 5 and well they say a childs personality is developed by that age....so I had it rough.

I grew up wanting the white picket fence, dog in the yard etc.....a "Real Family" of my own. Something I never had. Never gave thought to a career...now that was a mistake.
No one ever prepped me for adulthood and that most men are jerks & so ya better damn well be educated enough to support your own ass!

 

I wanted to be an astronaut (I was mad at my parents for not being Americans for a long time...), a professional figure skater (did figure skating for seven years), a lawyer (just coz my parents are). Now I want to be an anthropologist.

 

i remember once wanting to be a hairdresser - that soon left when i realised that the pre-requisite is iq below average...and always an actress...still would love to be, but uno... probs want to be a writer of some form

 

I wanted to smoke pot, collect records and produce underground bands. Be carefull what you wish for.

 

Hmm, I wanted to be alot of things... I don't remember them all, but some were an arcobat, a singer, a cartoon writer and an inventor.

 

I wanted to be on Sesame Street.

 

I think I changed my mind about what I wanted to do so many times! LOL Veterinarian (which always came out vegetarian - which I actually am! LOL), Football player (don't ask...it's what you get when you grow up in a male dominated household), Astronaut, writer, actor, singer (oops can't sing, LOL), gymnast, teacher, marine biologist, the whale trainer at Sea World, a race car driver, a dog trainer, ummm...now, I just want to travel the world and meet people. Thinking about politics...I'd get PAID to do that.

I wanted to be a computer programmer when I was younger... Yes I was always this geeky.

 

i always wanted to be a character in middle earth. i still do want that actually...but as its never gonna happen i'll take my second choice, a musician.

 

I went through a couple different phases. I wanted to be a hairdresser, social worker, stay at home mom. I knew I wanted to be a wife and have a family some day.

My wishes have basically come true. I am married, I stay at home, I am always comforting lil' hearts, and I cut hair.<(only in my home)

If I ever go back to work it will probably be in the Banking industry. I did that for a few years and I think I might go back to it someday.

 

Everyone who works on my moms side of the family is an engineer of some sort so I thought that's what i would be I also wanted to be a laywer (did horrible on the lsat), a vet and a teacher (got past my six months of student teaching only to find myself in a classroom alone with 45 not so well behaved kids who spoke little english) Now I work as a program manager and developer in a non profit and I get contracted out to speak to groups and implement programs at other sites and I have a very very small piece published and I get to work with kiddies wihtout all the responsibility of being a teacher.
