When you order pizza...

i also tip better if the store i bought the pizza (or insert food) from is a small business, not a large chain...i usually dont' buy from the chain stores like dominoes because i like local small pizza shops 100x better.

 

yes that is a good point, but since tips go straight to the delivery person and not the chain, that is a stupid reason to tip less. I would prefer to only order from mom and pop pizza places, but I am not gonna hold it against the person that brings it to me if I Choose to purchase something from a corprate chain I claim to despise.

 

you make a good point, BUT, i almost always hate the delivery person i get from the chain store anyway...that is one of the many reasons why i don't order from chains anymore...so in my case, i tip less to the chain store delivery people...but in instances where i am not in my hometown, then i give what i normally give because i have no grounds to deny him a good tip...

 

You always gotta go pick up the best pizza anyway.

everytime i order pizza i spell out the toppings i want. man they get so pissed. im like yeah let me get a medium pizza with P E P P E R O N I and S A S U A G E. and if u spell it really fast they just get so confused

They don't deliver all the way out to my house. We call to place the order, and by the time we get there it is ready to take home. By the time we get home it's cold, so I usually only eat pizza once a year.
