When you order pizza...

do you tip the delivery person? And if so, how much do you tip?

I deliver pizza, it's a pretty good job most of the time. I average about $3.00 per house. Some people tip really well, most are average (of course), and there are just a small percent who do not tip at all.

Just a question.

I tip pretty well because it's almost always at night or to be delivered to my house, which is pretty out of the way.

 

thats why i tip so much cause I just think if it was me delivering it and such..and thats how i feel about my apartment, its so out of the way..in the boonies

i don't order pizza, because i am bringing home free pizza all the time.
but if i were to order pizza, i would tip the driver at least $3. it does depend on the amount.

i'd say the average for me is also about $3. some larger orders can bring in $10 or $15. some people give me nothing on purpose. it's so random and unpredictable... not exactly a reliable source of income, but it pays the bills...

in my opinion, everyone should buy their own ingredients and make their own pizza... cheaper and tastier

 

I tip 3 dollars, and they generally are only driving 1 mile or less to get to me...in fact, I feel kind of embarrassed that i don't just go get it myself.

 

I don't like to tip those mooching bastards anything. I go and get it myself.

i have always tipped everyone well. i figure it's karma and now that im a server, hopefully that karma will come back at me.

 

I really enjoy delivering. It's a very easy job. Perfect for a lazy person. I get to sit in my car, listen to music, and meet people. Including my hourly wage, i make about $20+ an hour!

Usually i just give em a dollar, but once I was drunk and found a wallet erlier that day with 2,000 somwthing in it so I gave the pizza guy 300

 

i bet that guy thought he was having the luckiest day of his life that day. i wish i woulda been him!!

 

i tip nothing for the pizza delivery man....
