when the elderly go missing

what are your first thoughts?

 

I read a story once, about a lottery in this small town. The person who won was stoned to death for no reason at all.

 

My 1st thought is, "Someone should go looking for them".

 

My second thought was 'Where do elderly people go anyway?'

 

Nursing homes.

who finds them? have they gone to find themselves? should i avoid sidewalks? is someone stealing them?

 

They wander.

 

you mean self care or ones in nursing homes>
Why wasnt they wearing a GPS?
Why wasnt the guard at the post paying attention?
Why didnt the alarm go off. if they have a "baby band" on.. (to prevent the theft of babies in the maternity ward babies are fitted with a alarm) same is used for elderly in geriatrics..

Growing old sucks, dont believe anyone that says otherwise, your body feels sorer and your not as smart

 

and your children plan an intervention to take your car keys away
