The moments that we spend in order to pass the time after a toil of work are often taken up in the participation of Sports.
Whilst it is important to enjoy one's recreational time, there is crossroads where we have to chose whether to continue along a road of pleasure or professionalism.

The former sees engagement in an activity that one does for enjoyment and as a hobby, - a less competeitive approach where the playing (and journey) is more important than achieveable goal.
The latter requires a focus of intent conviction and dedication that can morph into an obsession.

    Pastimes are pleasurable
    Competitions, - have an edge.

And how we approach it, can lead to satisfaction or sierious side effects.

The desire to reach perfection and/or at least the attainment of reaching ones' also sees a choice, to reach it by fair means or foul.
This is when the importance of a good Coach/mentor can make the difference.

One has to ask which is the better choice - the strict discipline and controlled strategic management of those of the Jürgen Gröbler - Wikipedia philosophy, or to go for a way which is more relaxed, though enhanced by the use of a more pharmaceutical approach (be it legal or otherwise)

What starts off as an innocent way of which to play; either as an individual or within a team environment, can become something that can take over one's direction in life, and see the experience of mental and physical reaction to be either good - in respect on Health and well-being, or irresistible impulse of drive that shuts out others. It is a fine line of balance.

If you cannot win a competition with yourself, you are out of shape, while if you win one, you are insane by legal standards.

When one battles to overcome that within which taxes the Mind-set (and sometimes Soul) there is often conflict - and similarly oftenn times when resolution of such, = a Hope forlorn

Feel inner peace overwhelm you, empty your mind completely, embrace the joy of existence, then flush.

Tzun Tzu warned, "Know Thy Enemy", and Socrates admonished, "Know Thyself", while I say, if you value your life, "Know Thy Mindless Mob!"

    Don't bogart that joint!

It's all "In one's Minds eye" and then which the Heart, Spirit and Soul is bound to follow

I'm sure tai chi is a psychedelic if not psychological path.

I've met famous gurus and masters, and they're all fucking speechless, when I tell them neurologists are about to make it possible to meditate at the push of a button, and sit on the bottom of a pool for an hour if you want. The idiots know damned well meditation access different parts of the body in unusual ways, but the concept that it is related to how your cells talk to each other, is foreign to them. Soon, we will be able to talk to bacteria, and it is already becoming possible to talk to different animals. Gaia is not an abstract concept to be pondered, but a communal mind responsible for consciousness as we know it, funneling the life-force of the universe, still emanating from the Big Bang.
