When is death, death?! when does a human officially "shut down"?!

ok, so this is a VERY VERY debatable question and i want this thread to be mainly aobut...
when is human considered to be dead?!?!
if a human gets shot in the heart for example it is a FACT that his brain still workin upto 6minutes afterwards, it is a FACT that the human brain sends its last signals upto 37hrs after you are declared "dead"....it is a FACT that the avrage human brain weighs about 3 pounds (2% of total weight) and uses upto 25% of oxygen u breathe....isnt all this WIERD to you?!!? at all?!!? oh yea and the little statment youve alwayz been hearing about how humans only use 10% of there brain is BS (bull SHIT!) b/c every human being uses 100% of there brain...its proven FACT...

do i exist to you?! do you really know that who ever or what ever you are looking at is REAL, just because u feel it or see it doesnt meen its there and it REAL....if any human u ever looked or talked to is real?! u never know....ur brain tricks u everyday, u can AGREE on that cant u?!?! this might b another TRICK...as we know it today I can be EVERYTHING and i can be NOTHING...

a lot of people might just pass this on and think im insane....

i think that death is when the human soul leaves the body, but we can't really tell when that happens so i think one should go more on when the human brain completely shuts off

 

I expect it will be at the point I stop caring about it.

 

i heard when you body goes to die , it naturally produces DMT.

so perhaps people that have died and come back have just naturally tripped out.

 

Will people please stop turning everything into a long philosophical mess. Death is simply when you do not breath, walk, eat, sleep, or think and are incapable of , well, living. If your brain is showing activity after you are dead that is the large amount of electricity which is still flowing through your body. And yes, you do exist in the sense that you and I have no reason to think otherwise.

 

hey man, im not tryin to shut u down, or say ur wrong, but u cant really say all this is 100% true, and what u are saying is INFACT death...it might b, but it also b very different, it might b the state where your soul goes to your next life if you believe in that kind of stuff..idk im just sayin though..

many many people have different logical explanations and ways to back there explanation up, on what happens after we die...im not one of them...

Death is electricity. The brain is what discharges this type of elecricity that makes the heart beat. when u die the elctricity is then distributed to the same recycling energy that flows through the earth, and it will be used for somthing in the end. And for what it will be used for to some people is unknown untill proven. And that is what i beilive will happen. - Mike

im majorin in the psychology, those are the basic facts in the beginning of anything..

 

also it wouldnt make scence if the brain uses only 10% b/c theres several different areas and parts in your brain, and in order for u b normal and function like you regurarly ur whole brain need to function

 

ur sorta right we dont use 100% AT ONCE our brains are divided into sections for different tasks so idk if u can use 100% at one time, but u can definatntly use all 100% in 10 minutes. we dont have hidden mystical powers lol although i wish we did.
