funny how when i least expected to trip on shrooms, i did. but now that i want to trip on LSD, it taking a while, i hope its soon but its goona happen when it happens... i dont even know why nor really care, just a little curious.

can LSD change a person incredibly the first time that people would be able to tell...people that know you well?

it's possible, most likely because it will be all you want to talk about.

If you've taken shrooms before, it'll be somewhat similar, at least in a general sense. A shroom trip will be slightly different than an LSD trip. Chemically, psilocybin and LSD are structurally similar, and they affect the brain in similar ways.

Don't expect it to change you any more than trippin on shrooms did.

Well, you might change if you have an addicitve personality. You might seem like an acid head to people because you want to talk about it alot, like the other guy said. I hardly talk about drugs or anything because I do it here! lol! Also, it can change you if you already have mental issues and so on... Have fun and keep the doseage low, you don't need that much...

no serious change, good feelings like bad ones fade in about a week. and you go back to being complely normal.

just dont become one of those people who think there sooooooo smart on it and youve suddenly discovered the meaning of life. you havent and you just seem like a prat to other people who are just enjoying it.

one of my friends took it with me once, it was his first time and my like 20th and all he could do was shit on about how he was getting so much more out of it and couldnt possible understand that i was getting the same out of it

I would dispute the idea that any sort of feelings fade after about a week. Last year near the end of November I tripped with my one dude, and the next five months followed the course of the trip. By that I mean that it started off with wonder, excitement about new ideas and all that, got a little bored, some confusion, a little bit of a bad trip, not bein able to communicate with people, not understanding why I couldn't just go with the flow...and then the release of that, understanding what the problem was.

Ultimately I'd say that the experience I had during the winter of 05-06 forced me to rework how I think about everything, helped me move on past a bad time in my life. I wouldn't say that the experience itself showed me the meaning of life, but the experience definitely changed how I think...or forced me to make myself think differently.

And of course your friend wasn't gonna shut up about it and you were gonna be all nonchalant - he'd never done it before.

why do people do it a lot then?
why not just a few in life?

Some people just do it for fun. Not for the experiences.

That's kinda like asking a millionaire why they don't spend 365 days a year on holiday.

Sure, they could do it, but they'd become so far detatched from the real world, normality would end up dull and bland, and they would fall into a decadant hole of indulgence, living "the dream" but never really getting anywhere with their lives, never truly achieving.

Edit: Uh.. actually that didn't make much sense in the context of your question. What I mean to say is, yes, some people do acid a lot, but it won't get them any further in life than taking a holiday every week would. A sensible person will take it less frequently, and most every acid user slows down their usage at some point in their life, usually considerably. You *can* get too much of a good thing :)

thats bullshit your still a kid oviously as your still going through mental changes. the feelings from lsd fade, this is common fact otherwise people would still be scared of there biggest fear that happened on lsd.

you should never have taken lsd in a bad time of you life either, you should only do it when your compleatly happy with who you are. you dont see people taking it to get over break ups or what not

so the fact that you did take it in a bad time of your life means you know shit all about it and shouldnt comment on peoples posts who actualy know what its like.

Memories/flashbacks of a bad trip fade for sure, but it *definitely* isn't limited to one week.

I think it's about 3 months now since I last tripped, and I still get mild flashbacks. They're less frequent than they were nearer the time, and they don't bother me much either (just a couple of minutes of feeling uncomfortable, as opposed to the first couple of times when they really shook me up), but at the current rate I wouldn't expect to be totally rid of these moments for at least another 2-3 months, maybe longer.

acid changed me in a much cooler way than shrooms did, its very distinct and different but almost the same.
