I only knew a few words, I recall laying in bed one night on the top of the sheets. The window by the bed had no screen. I could not sleep, so I occupied my time by watching the street light.

Then a snake crawled in through the window. I saw it slide over the sill, and lost track of it as it disappeared down past the edge of the bed.

A moment later, the head of the snake raised up above the edge of the bed; about eye-level. The snake began to speak to me, and continued talking until I fell asleep.

Koopa, times were different then. My parents failed in many ways, but I loved them dearly.

I don't remember what it said. I don't think I understood it when I heard it. All I rememeber is that it was one long-winded snake.

Well, if true, that's quite an interesting story.

Thanks for your confident supposition, but I have enough on my plate just speaking English. (I mean, American.)

oh my bad, your a 52 year old from iowa (pop culture equivalent of living under a rock (no offense :). parseltongue is a reference to the most popular book series the world has seen in this decade.........one who speaks it can communicate with snakes.

I had teddybears and just before i went to sleep i remember them speaking to me. And i have this memory one night before bed my dad came to check on me as he did with my other bro n sis and asked if i spoke to the teddy bears. And i remmeber being embarrased about the question because i thought there was something wrong with the teddy bears talking.

Children seem to be more open to such occurrences. Adults seem predisposed to dismiss everything. A toy riding horse took a bite from my sandwich in kindergarten.
