The National Guard support is in response to Mayor Ray Nagin’s request to the governor for extra help in patrolling the city. Gov. Five teenagers were shot and killed and one man was stabbed during the weekend. The crimes were “senseless,” Blanco stated in a news release. She also urged Nagin to enact a curfew for teens. The people we think are running New Orleans are all taking orders from people much higher up, who want the emerging police state and are using the situation in New Orleans as a justification to bring the military into a situation that would normally be handled by local and state authorities.
