I´ve used it for many years. At the beginning because it was my only possibility of any kind of sexual activity, later on, when I haven't had a partner, as an easy way of sexual relief because I never liked casual sex.

Obviously the use of pronography is linked to masturbation. This is thought to be a healthy way of exploring your sexuality and fantasies, and getting sexual relief, in moderation.

Personally, I find pornography, although relieving, quite unsatisfying; it's absolutely unreal and lacking in any kind of affection, and even depressing. I think it's like being hungry and try to satisfy it watching pictures of wonderful food's plates...

Another problem is that you may get used to stunning blokes that you may are unable to find or get in the real life, which may depress you more.

So, I'm disliking pornography every day more and thinking it is a waste of time...

Yup. Porno is just like most other things in life: it ain't everybody's cup of tea.

Some like it and some don't. Yet, if used and not abused, porn can help you out ever so often and it may also stimulate your fantasy.

Sure, it may poison you, if you are susceptible and prone to depression. But, that, I am afraid only goes on to say that the ball is in your yard...

Andrenio, I think you've got some very wise insights about porn. I find that the most ordinary man who is physically present and interested is much more appealing than any porn out there.

After you've seen more than a few samples of it, it starts to look alike. The men and situations start to seem very obviously posed, and the models seem bored. I've seen so much porn where it seems like nobody is having much fun. If it's not fun, what's the point?

I agree with the above. I mean I use porn sometimes, but it's just not life. It can definitely be awesome, but sometimes it's just no good.

It really depends on the porno. Some of it really is degrating. Some of it isn't.

When I was 15, I used to watch that Cinimax crap. It was boring, obviously fake, and they blurred out the men's penises half the time... Now, I'm a bisexual who leans towards lesbian as far as physical attraction goes (except for David Bowie in the Labyrinth. Rawr), but what's the point of watching porn if you don't even get to see all the parts? But I was going through puberty and got cable in my bedroom. I was (and am) a virgin by choice, but still had the raging hormones that everyone else had at that age. It certainly didn't harm me or make me immoral.

Does erotic photography count as porn? Not just the nude pictures, but the actual artistic stuff? Because I like that stuff.

Pornography to me on my P.O.V is about as natural as getting undressed its just a lesson on how to learn how to have sex. Or a lesson into curiosity.

At first I thought it was really hot. Now it seems so posed and so awkward sometimes. I can't look at it without thinking that the guys are being told what to do. I don't get a sense of fun when I look at it.

The way I see it, it is just an aid in masturbation. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either. It turns me on, so I use it.

Very occasionally I'll use it, but only the lame celebrity stuff. If it involves famous people I figure it's not really denigrating or exploitative because you know they don't need the money. That and the men tend to be more attractive. All the gay porn I've seen has been pretty awful, to be honest.

I love porn. I even watch straight sometimes but not to the extent as gay. I've been watching porn since I was 14 so thats 4 years or soon be 5 wow aniversry perhaps I should celebrate haha. But it can be fun just to watch with your pals for a laugh not just for yourself.

well, I strongly believe pornography is a way, among many others, that shows us some aspects of human life, and how to keep living and express our nature, otherwise, can you do what you do, here I let you think, just by lessons without watching and feeling the sensations?...

I don't like porn as it makes me lust more for someone to be with. Also gay porn SUCKS its hard to explain why, i think they just put more money into straight porn.

It's good in that it sometimes helps me remember what it's like to have sex. I mean, it's a biological need like sleep and food, but the effects go away in a day or two, and sometimes it's just not available.

If you combine your memory of sex with what you're seeing, you get pretty close to the real thing. Unfortunately, it is completely devoid of emotional intimacy, which means it is really not good for you if you are lonely and haven't had sex in a while, I think.

Watching m4m sex when I was a teenager was part of my coming out experience. There are many things that I had seen and done when I was 18-22 that I would not--as a 47+ year old--do now. Watching pornography is one of them. I find that I feel as if I'm invading someone's space during their performance of a natural, healthy act. It evokes about as much interest as my wanting to watch someone while he moves his bowels on the toilet.

I also think that most of them are boring to look at. I don't get aroused seeing someone else's penis on film. But then again, I've never been accused of falling into the pigeon-holes of either "RANK" or "FILE" !

I dont know, maybe Iv'e become jaded, or maybe it's because I'm celibate, but porn, or what Iv'e seen of it usually amounts to , too much make-up, really bad backround music, un-realistic script's, if any, and way too much OVER ACTING...come on guys.. if a girl is making that much noise.. you KNOW it's not for real!
