hipmoon - damn I'm jealous! That is a really comfy looking nice house! :)

My sewing setup is the best I've had in a while. We have two folding tables we use for vending that I keep set up in our spare room. I drew this little diagram up in a minute in MS Paint to show you how it's set up... I sit in a rolling swiveling office-type chair in the corner of the two tables there, and I can see my wall of fabric from there. That still leaves enough room to put a bin of scrap behind me when I'm sewing up yardage of patchwork.

The best part is that the window leads right out to the glass studio. So on the (rare these days) occasion that Ian gets a chance to sew, he and I can listen to the same music/audio book. Right now the only entertainment we have set up in there is an MP3 CD player with speakers, and it's on the shelf and table right by the window (so I can aim the speakers out while blowing). But we're thinking next week we might invest in a third computer to set up in there, just so I can have better control over audiobooks, and be able to watch dvds or divx as well. Hooray! A good crafty setup means fun to work! :)
