Caelynn was saying in another thread that's it's not that hard to get a job when you have dreads. (congrats on the new job by the way. ) So I was wondering what everybody does for a living? I work at a circus school where I work on the flying trapeze and bungee tramp with the public, plus juggling ect.:juggle: Before that I was a house keeper at a fancy resort. What's your job? :daisy:
wow your job is so cool. i do housekeeping and mantainance at a YMCA camp. its an extremely chill job.
i work in theatre on various independent contracts. mostly, it's stage management, but i just got a job working in the theatre department's administrative office at a university. i will do that during the day, and be wardrobe supervisor at one of my favorite boston theatres at night. i may be picking up some extra fall work as wardrobe super on another show, but that's undecided yet. so basically, what i do changes every few weeks.
I on the other hand work at a chicken plant. I know it may sound crappy, but it's good money and good benefits. Been there 2 years now!
I work as a specialty art teacher (ish) & muralist at a children's daycare/art studio that's just opening up =)
I'm a student now and i'm majored in water supply and sewerage engineering.I wanna to be a engineer in my major.BTW,I'm from china.
i spend most my time at uni, but i do catering work for weddings and parties sometimes. back home i work for a grantgiving foundation that so yungins from the city can enjoy the outdoors.
I work at an inventory company counting stuff. One of my reasons for dreading was to prevent myself from every getting too uptight a job. So far, so good.
is that the kind of place where chickens end up being slaughtered and shit? or something previous to that? if so then...sigh, i'd rather put a bullet through my head than work in a place like that. (sorry) anyway, i don't work at all... i just go to school on occasions and chill the rest of the time.
over the summer i was an "activity attendent" at a nursing home. It was my job to hang out with kick ass old people all day. Now that Im back at school I am working in our school's Archaeology Processing Lab. As for now I basically sit on my ass with a microscope and pick out tiny pieces of charcoal/ glass/ lithics waste/ seed coats etc. and place them in little bags. Very tedious but interesting.
