It really depends on the application. When I make Cold "Chicken" Pasta salad with Morningstar Farms strips, I found Bowties takste better (to us) than macaroni. It really makes all the difference when you have the rght shape pasta, even though it's made out of the same stuff! (just wheat, oil, and water for most pasta)

I prefer long pasta, but it really depends what sauce I'm adding to itsome sauces work better with different kinds of pasta ;) ya know?

The Italian's have something going on with that al dente' stuff. After having it that way I can never go back to mush.

Oh and Barilla brand pasta is my fave if I am not eating whole grain.

Brown rice bowties....makes a wicked good cold pasta salad by adding roasted veggies and some organic dressing (Annie's - I love the Goddess one) and letting it sit overnight in the ice box.......For hot pasta I love the whole wheat angel hair with homemade tomato / basil sauce...yum!
