I'm a die hard Star Wars fan. And I'm talking the ORIGINAL trilogy before they did all that Special edition crap to the movies.
I'm just waitin fer them to make a third Mortal Kombat movie, then my dreams will come true... (Hint: Sarcasm)
oh crap i thought u were serious for a second. honestly tho i didnt mind the first one. maybe because i was pretty little and could tell a good movie if it bit me in the ass. anyways the second one was absolutely horrible. it should be locked in a vault along with gili, glitter, the chronicles of riddick, new york minute, and crossroads.
the Godfather trilogy is probably the best ever. Ofcourse Lord of the Rings is up there. My favorite would have to be the Evil Dead/Army of Darkness trilogy. Nothing compares.
BACK TO THE FUTURE!!! my favorite movies for a long time, if it wasn't for the different jennifers in them then i would have thought that they were all made at the same time.
Star Wars....even the 1997 special edition crap versions i'm so exited that it's only 18 nights before i get them on dvd i'm also a fan of the Lord Of The Rings, Die Hard and Austin Powers series.
shit im gonna have to say the godfather trilogy..im sorry but i hjate loird of the rings besides the hobbits and gollum.....
I have a feeling that if I had read the Lord of the Rings trilogy I would not like the movies. As it is, I have read The Hobbit, and half of The Fellowship of the Ring, and seen the movie version of FotR, and I didn't care overmuch for it. I do plan to read the trilogy eventually, though. I almost regret that so much has been made of the movies, though. I will have to work hard to not think of them at all as I read the books. My answer to the question is the PHANTASM trilogy (which, if you've been paying attention, now has four movies and is supposed to wrap up, I think, with a fifth one). The Tall Man is an awesome villain -- there is nothing or no one scarier than he is in all moviedom. I couldn't say the Evil Dead movies because they were too campy/silly for me, even though I enjoy them okay. When I was younger, the Star Wars movies were the best in the world, to me. I have come to think of them as kind of dumb now. (Such high tech, but no voice synthesizer would fit into R2-D2, huh? Plans for the Death Star on "tapes," Darth? How '70s! A crossbow to fire laser blasts? Laser blasts that are so slow you can dodge them?! Jeez, even bullets would be harder to dodge! And that whole Ewok thing... silly to the point of dumb. And I used to LIVE for those movies, people. So if you haven't seen the Phantasm movies, go get them. Be forewarned, they were extremely low-budget -- but great for what they had. Or maybe I'm just biased since I came to love them as a kid and now they're part of my childhood... Blue skies, -Jeffrey
I'm going to say "Star Wars" (Original of course) followed closely by Indiana Jones (Fond memories of wanting to whip people as a child - now wanting to whip people as an adult LOL) Jon
The Man with No Name trilogy. Sergio Leone was one of the greatest directors of all time. Too bad he passed up The Godfather but Once Upon A Time in America was still a classic in it's own right.
Mad Max Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome And hopefully coming in 2005... Mad Max: Fury Road
im gonna have to go with night, dawn, and day of the dead. and probably the evil dead's. and i gotta go with Love Fest1969 on the madmax films but the violent shit trilogy has gotta be worth a mention for the consistent fun of each one.
