Mine is eaither "Pretty Maids All In A row" from the Hotel California (1976) album, or "Desperado". I find it to be one for the most sad, melancholie of the Eagles songs. I also like "Desperado" and "Hotel California". All these songs are blues based, downbeat and sorrowful.

New Kid In Town for their mellow stuff. Life In The Fast Lane for their rock tunes.

Eagles were ecclectic. Blues and country flavor in their early 70s works and a harder edge rock sound in the late 70s.
