Alot of people think that all benzodiazepines are the same. pharmacologically they are similar drugs, there are some major contrasts in both the half life (duration) and the intensity of the effects.

I am curious: which benzodiazepine is your favorite?

My personal favorites are Diazepam (Valium) and Temazepam (Restoril). Temazepam has got to be one of the strongest and most euphoric benzodiazepines out there. The brand is in Gel Caps, that work quickly, and fuck your world up if you take a few of them. Valium is not as strong, but has a longer half life (almost twice that of Alprazoram (Xanax). Perhaps the coolest effect of valium (you get this with temazepam as well) is the rocking sensation (as in rocking back and forth) it gives your body, as if you are suspended in midair. Restorils are extremly rare, at least around here (NW Georgia) so usually i go for Valium. I will take Xanax if i can get it, but the short half life pisses me off.

    What do you guys think?

Yeah, I've never seen it on the streets. But I have a friend who is prescribed it so I manage to get a few from him here and there.

ya know, I never really detected much difference between benzos. I guess some last longer, but I rarely remember much, so its hard to tell. I think xanax are my favorite, though.

xanax are good, they give more of a drunk feeling. as opposed to valium or temazepam, which induce an intense relaxation. different strokes i suppose.

i disagree. xanax comes on strong like temazepam, but the feeling is gone in an hour. lame. i prefer longer acting benzos.

Over all i'd have to say xanax, especially for coming down off of stimulants and sleeping. But i also enjoy valium because its makes me happier and relaxed as opposed to xanax making me just not care about anything.

Xanax is great except when you forget how many you've taken because you are convinced your not feeling anything and you end up taking a whole assload and OD and smash your face into the tub and knock yourself out and just lay bleeding on the floor scared for your life but hoping to hurry up and die because it feels so fucking weird that it hurts. lol Yeah... bad expierence.

How can u say Temazepam is the best benzo?? I honestly can say that Temazepam is the WEAKEST and most BULLSHIT benzo i've ever ingested. I got prescribed them one month in replace of my ambien for sleep and they did almost nothing.. I would have to eat like 90mgs just to get some effects and its not even that good, way too weak...Xanax is the best...Oh and i also used to get prescribed 10mg Valiums for like 6 months and they didnt do much either...

i have never tried temazepam, but my favorite is lorazepam(ativan) it gives me this really chill, more euphoric than drunk feeling
does anybody have anything to say on the subject of mixing benzodiazepines with amphetamines? not to come off of amphetamines but more of a speedball, in tandem as it were
do they kill out the stimulating and/or euphoric effects? i really just want to know because i have dexedrine(in the form of long-acting vyvanse) and lorazepam

I've done it. 30mg of temazepam followed by 100mg of adderall 30 minutes later. The adderall completly cancled out the temazepam.

xanax definately, then klonies, then probably valium. I've only had temazepam once, not sure how many I took but I got pretty faded.

thank you Daedalus, saved me some pills but it's too bad the stimulants will kill out the benzos and most likely vice versa if the benzo out weighed the amphetamine(effect wise of course)

every drug effects everyone in different ways. for me xanax just dosent last long enough, though if i have alot of them, this concern is not really relavant. but temazepam has a strong and pronoucned effect on me, and the feeling lasts long enough that i dont have to keep taking them. its fine if thats not your expierence, just respect mine.
