I've been making furnature lately. I hired a fung shue consultant to go through my home and she suggested that I replace my "college student" type furnature with some real stuff. I couldn't find anything that I liked so I decided to make it myself.

I'm also a writer and spend some time doing that. It's hard work but I really love it.

    Thank you Joshua,

For relaxation, I am into hiking in the mountains, reading, playing and listening to music, taking care of my fish and rally racing. And, I am especially fond of traveling. I am in love with Europe and especially Amsterdam. I will be traveling there again in two week's. Where I hope to meet our friend and host Skip. If he does not leave the city himself for a much needed vacation he said.

I think I have too many hobbies. I like rebuilding old motorbikes and mopeds. I'm into flying model aircraft and doing aerial video. Electronics projects are neat too, especially audio and video. I like electronic music and keyboards. I do outdoor type hobbies too like astronomy and Earthy activities like barefoot hiking. I like to just be with the Earth sometimes; no cell phone, no headphones, no shoes. Just me. :)

Yes, this is an excellent thread, Josh!

I love playing my djembe and hoop drums, reading (mostly Native American history and spirituality), walking in the woods, being out in nature, studying herbs and essential oils and all natural good smells, meditating....on and on....

Nice to see you back here, Joshua.

Right now, this point in my life, I'm into being a mom to my 2 kids. I'm teaching my 8 yr. old daughter the guitar (hey Teepi, I play blues guitar too!). I love making art, painting, mosaics, refurbishing old furniture into beautiful pieces, gardening and being close to the earth and nature .... I'm also trying to find a sense of my own spirituality....not quite sure how I believe anymore.....so I'm searching.....and my search has opened up several new doors into alternative beliefs and religions, both ancient and modern.... it's very inspiring.

I missed you, UPRR. [IMG] I just bought an '87 Cadillac Brougham, I am just absolutely passionate about. Only car I've ever owned that I have loved. Other than that, working too much, gardening, and practicing nudism as much as I can.

I like to sew, mostly patchies, quilts, and baby clothes. I also do counted crossstitch. Mostly these days I play with the babe. He's not so much a babe anymore. Will be 2 week after next. Growing up too fast. Can't wait till I can quit the 9 to 5 and stay home to homeschool him.

My bag right now is yoga and meditation, working on restoring an old victorian era house, and my art projects that keep a little money coming in. All these seem to keep me in tune with my body and mind....I must say, my mind is doing a hell of a lot better than my body, but when you reach a "certain age" you don't pay any attention to those little creaks and pops you hear when you stand up, or else you won"t get up!!!! LOL! I am growing more accustomed to what I am evolving into, and I am at a place in my life right now where I am happier with myself than I have been in a long, long time. Peace , ruby

I agree, this thread does help us to get to know each other better. Such interesting people here. I am into cooking good food for a bunch of people. I was always the "earth mother type", just love to feed people. I also collect Netsuke and art glass, I knit (when my hands let me), make pathetic attempts at gardening, but love it anyway, plants do not talk back. I read a lot, have interesting discussions about history and politics with my son, he is a history major and planning on teaching medieval history ( I got him into that, it's also one of my interests). I am hooked on computer mah jong (I am sure it's just a phase and I will grow out of it).

Enough! There are not enough hours in the day.

    Peace,

i will as soon as i can get the pictures of by Baby ( 57 ) i plan one once she is restored ( she runs but aging spots ) i will take her on Route 66! if anyone would like i would love to go with some folks in WV Vans and HArleys! man that would be the hipest group to wander 66 in 30+ years! all i need in $200 to get her home and its safe sailing from there. oh man but it has been 2 weeks sense i made the 700$ payment i need the other $200 soon. so i talked to my mom and we will sell our HUGE swimming pool for $400 my mom bought it for $500. it is 6 ft deep and the biggest pool ( abouve ground ) in town. BUT our town of Chapman is only 300 people! i have been on hipforums just lately my comp has been down and all my money and energy ( both postive and negitive ) is going to the car. i am falling in love with classics! in Central City ( Lone Tree City ) 10 miles east of our house is a 56 Bel Air that when i sell my dads BIG army Truck ( 54 gas burning deuce 1/2 ) he wants the 56! man father and son 56 and 57 and mabe a bunch of WV Vans and Harleys runnin down Route 66 from Chicago to LA! its not to far feched now cause i have the car 2/5 of the way payed of after the $200 is payed! i am paying $2,500 for it. and it is a HOT ROD! 100 and 10% original. factory air! ( needed for desert! ) and leaded fuel ) i love originality in autos! nothin but classics i like! and WV vans and those 60's & 70's pickups. hehe. my brother has a 91 Z 28 Camaro with a Corvette engine and he loves my car! his wouldnt last on 66 :p it might. 66 needs road work. some parts havent been maintained sense it was built 80+ years ago! but my car will be the only 100% original 57 on 66 burin rubber at 80 sense teh 60's! man i am nuts all over that car! its a sedan. i wouldnt want a coupe anyways. not very good family cars.
