What's with girls callnig guys daddy these days? Actually i'm not even sure when it started. Just yesterday I wasn't wearing my glasses which make me look kinda nerdy, instead I had a hat on and co worker said "hey daddy"... also about a week or two ago I mentioned somethign to a girl and she said "that's so daddy"... Whenever I ask the mwtf it means they dont really have an answwer. Can anyone offer insight pls?
I know they are using the term in a sexual way but I don't really undestand its origin or anything. They got daddy issues or something? Surely at least ONE female on here (or male) uses the term and can enlighten us!
I Have Only Ever Known One Woman Who Refers To Her Father As "Daddy" And I Would Describe Her As "Seriously Weird"....... Cheers Glen.
Yes well it is perfectly normal thank you very much. I often hear many southern state USA folks do this from professional ajthletes to musicians.
From https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.urbandictionary.com/define.php%3fterm=Daddy&=true Bit much for an urban dictionary definition if you ask me
I don't mind lol. I'm not embarrassed or anything just something I say. Not always, I mean it's gotta roll off the tongue naturally. I just thought it was cute when I was typing it, I didn't think it would really get to the stage where I was being perceived as different or anything lol.
Lolz, you seriously did not just do that. Southern US to legitimize normalicy of father/ daughter relagionships. Like Alabama?
It is because I am Daddy and like to be called it so much. People can sense my existence, as all are forces that tug and pull in their own wanton directions.
haven't experienced that one yet myself, but the i 'live in a cave' so maybe, also i'm old enough to use age as an excuse 'not to keep up'. but then, i am aware this counts for several of us. i remember in the 1950s the whole u.s. culture had this ignorant idea that women were somehow less mature then men, and the cult of youth in the 60s everyone was baby this and baby that. there is, for some, to me, not quite fathomable reason, something of a resurgence of romanticizing ignorance, my guess would be this is some sort of aspect to that. but then i am often wrong and hope such a speculation is as wide of the mark as its likely to be perceived as. perhaps it is a good natured 'rubbing it in' of a 'reversal' that may not actually be that much of one.
