The biggest problem in the world is the lack of crack cocaine... gotta spread it on the streets man, spread it on the streets... make fucken sidewalks out of it!

 

Above all, greed. The others are just resulting from greed or are only minor annoyances.

I think its Rap Muisc. Mainstream rap anyway, and how it's becoming the "thing" to be. Gangsta, bling bling, shake it like a salt shaka, spinnin on dubs, hittin the bitches, slappen dem hoes.

It hit me when I saw a 9 year old singing and dancing along to some tune about sellin crack, and bangin hoes. She didn't even realize the words she was saying, and how fuckin sad it was coming from a 9 year old. The kids all think that its cool to listen to all this crap, when they don't even know what the shits saying. Following the herd like the rest of the sheep, following them over the edge of the cliff known as society.

cuz "The Man" is everywhere, and in everything... ...that's what's wrong with the world, everywhere we turn could be someone that could kill us, opress us, shut us down, lock us out, "The Man" spawns terrorism, communism, greed, racists, pretty much everything on that list, even pedophiles (the man has fucked with their heads), i know i seem like the stereotypical paranoid hippie who thinks "The Man" is after him. but i guess that's who i am, i don't trust alotta people, except my hippie bretheren. and people i know are on my side.

There are black people from the suburbs that do the same thing, you just don't think twice because they are black. As there are white people from the ghetto that talk and act that way because that is what surrounds them - I used to be one of those.

I think the funny part, is all of the rappers talkin about how they live in mansions, got 50 g's around their neck, wipe their ass with 100 dollar bills and all that. Then in the next song they rappin bout how hard it is to be broke in the ghetto. The 'hip hop concious' has expanded from the ghetto, and made it's way to every class of life.

 

First, don't get me wrong, I'm NOT a Christian. But my mind is open enough to accept the possibility that at least SOME of what is in the Bible might be close to accurate. The whole thing about the world being a hell hole does NOT make any sense to me in any rational way. Most people, hippys or not, are not all that bad. Even when we were in school the worst bullys were in the minority. So what the heck IS it anyhow? Well, just maybe the part in the bible about the devil being cast out of heaven to live here on earth is true... Far out thought, but that is the only thing that makes any real sense to me. And if that were the case, the devil would want to work thru people who have alot of influence and power. Better the president than Joe the butler... Thus the problem with shitty government, cops, etc.
I do believe that things have gotten so bad that alot of people have just given up trying to be nice guys. Too much like work, and the nice guys end up getting run over because evil creates alot more force than good. Evil is the act of DOING bad things. Good is basically the act of NOT doing bad things. It shouldn't be that way, if the GOOD guys put as much energy into doing good as the bad guys put into doing bad, the tide might turn a bit, but basically I don't think that ANYTHING will help much at this point in time if the devil really is in control here and they are not just making the shit up. Hey, I know this sounds fruity, but when NOTHING else makes sense, ya gotta start wondering about the alternatives...

 

I think that all the above are only symtems of a much deeper source of depravation.
A lack of respect for our fellow wo/man leads to all which has been listed. A failure to feel compassion/mercy for the less fortunate. A dishonor to our source which we have cut ourselves off from. A lack of unity and brotherhood.

We ourselves are to blame, if blame be laid. We humans have governed ourselves poorly., we have no one thing to blame but blame itself. We are the guilty party, we hide ourselves away in guilt. We judge others for their efforts and contirbutions, we are all greedy and selfish.

The thing that may be needed is to come to terms with our nature and change ourselves and our attitudes. Each one of us have potiencial to be, lets say more Zen like. It's in us all.. the Zen in us all that came with our Spirits. That is what I think is lacking and causes all the bad stuff we go through. We have lost our connection with our source and are left here to hang upsidedown without direction.

okay i got it i guess if man refers to both men and women, i guess its that because its the one thing that is able to create all the problems in this world...man has always been the root to everything that is good or bad....i don't think u can target it on the things that man creates. For example music, because then u need to ask were did that come from - man. By targeting problems on the things man creates e.g. music - it only creates hate, censorship nothing can be solved. To try and understand why people think that its the music for example it goes back to the question, why does man feel that way?

 

I think we are just nearing the end of our time here on earth. I'm not sure how much we have speed the process, but I think the end result was and is inevitable.

 

Not to sound selfish, but in my personal little world,the problem is me.
