im called chickabean because of..the chickabeans..the chickabeans are originally from cornwall and were invented by my old best friend kev...its weird coz i didnt think anyone else knew about them..it was a private tripping out joke really but apparently they are all over truro college according to another cornwall-ian that frequents this forum!!

it was booga because i was reading a tankgirl comic when i joined first time round so he was in my mind
then shortend it to boog for no apparent reason. i just liked the sound of it

 

My first name translated into English means Peace, my surname means Phoenix....

 

well...i was dubbed spider at school for a bit, when spider was on coronation street...and i was abig hippy shit, so it fit! and then someone on here changed the spelling of my name to Spyder and walla!

 

What an interesting thread! Well, a friend at work was being stalked by a twat who called himself Doctor Avalanche after the drum machine from the Sisters of Mercy. He was using this handle to post to her on-line diary. I signed up an ID with which to disparage him, and Doktor Atomik was part parody, and part reference to a hardly known seventies underground comic character, Doctor Atomic. The original Doctor Atomic was (in) famous for his Pipe and Dope Book, amongst other potty (pun!) adventures. Anyway, the name kinda stuck.

Erm ok... my mum and dad gave it to me After Claire Abo the actress... also because Claire was a name you couldn't shorten into a nickname...

Hence it gets made longer as a nickname... Claire Bear etc etc

My original name I had on here "Clairex" was just because someone had already used the name Claire so i just added a kiss behind it... awwww

Well...Xiola Bleu was an L.A artist and the lover of the great Perry Farrell (the guy who sings in Jane's Addiction)! Sadly she died of a herion overdose at the age of 18. Several Jane's songs have since been written about her...think 'Three Days' or 'Then She Did'.
I think that everyone has a Xiola though...someone who is talented and has everything going for them but they make a mistake and screw up everything. In some ways I feel I'm doing that.:&

 

Well .. MAON .. pronounced moon .. is a celtic name that a gave to my son and it means hero .. as i cant be with him i use it as my own here to always think of him at all times.

Mercy...one of the greatest gifts one can be given. I rely on mercy from others, and I try to show others mercy as often as I can.
Also, I am a huge Dylan fan...and one of his albums is called Oh Mercy...
My old user name (Miss Mercy) was also based around a member of a group of girls who toured with Frank Zappa and other rock stars of the time called the GTOs. She was very much like Penny Lane from Almost Famous. Almost Famous is my favourite film, but I didn't want to appear to be a Beatles fan with Penny Lane as my name...so Miss Mercy it was....
