I bought the Psychedelic Sounds of The 13th Floor Elevators about a month or so ago, but I've burned atleast 20 cds since then. My last one was "Their Satanic Majesties Request" by The Stones.
Social Distortion: sex love and rock and roll Therion: Lemuria Lamb of God: Ashes of the Wake ICP: The Wraith ICP: Hell's pit
Hmmm, the last album I downloaded was Antics by Interpol, the last 1 I bought was The Madcap Laughs by Syd Barrett. I want 2 download more, but can't decide what at the moment.
latest bunch would be some new psychedelic folk purchases Juniper Meadows - Pine Needles & Cones (2004) Juniper Meadows - Pistils for Madeleine (2004) Fursaxa and Juniper Meadows (2004) James Blackshaw - Celeste (2004)
Been a few recently... Aphex Twin - Come To Daddy The Pharcyde - Bizarre Ride II Nellie McKay - Get Away From Me Kelis - Tasty The Killers - Hot Fuss Ella Fitzgerald - Sings The Cole Porter Songbook Orbital - Live At Glastonbury 2004
The two most recent are: Voice Prime - cross between jazz, hip-hop, and jamband. I really like this album. Easy to listen to. Joey Arkenstat Bane - Hahaha, its really Mike Gordon solo stuff, but they fooled my simple ass. Its some crazy shit. Psychedelic and in-your-face music, very bassy like Les Claypool. Great album if you like bass or really weird music.
latest records i bought are: The Who - The Who Collection The History Of Eric Clapton and Paul Kossoff: The Hunter
I bought ' In Nomine Aeternitatis' by Dargaard a couple of weeks ag now - very good album- even if it is slightly depressing. Its still cool to chill out to. peace and love xxxxxx
modest mouse - "this is a long drive for someone with nothing to think about" i had owned it previously, but then lost it.. so i re-bought it cause it ROCKS
I traded for a copy of New Monsoon Halloween at Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom but I paid for Paranoid for my 13 y/o son.
Particle, which was over the summer. Boycotting the RIAA, so pickings are slim, since I can only buy cds not put out by the hundreds of labels that are members of the RIAA.
