What's the dumbest question that someone has asked you?

There are two questions that come to mind for me:

1) When I was giving a cave tour and we were about 30 minutes into the tour and this girl said "Are we underground yet?" I was really at a loss for words. And she was totally serious.

2) One of my friends asked me where Central America was. Again, totally serious.

 

i ask stupid questions all the time. just a way to learn.

 

I'm sure you've never asked anything as dumb as "Are we underground yet" while you're in a cave

 

Well, it wasn't a question, but I once knew a girl my age who thought New England was in Europe.

 

Okay, this was REALLY embarrassing.


My kids had chameleons when they were younger and I remembered from when I was young that they like to lie on this warm rock thing that ya can buy at a pet shop. WELL, I didn't know what the damn thing was called so when I called the pet shop and some guy answered I said "Hi there, do you happen to have hot rocks?". TOTAL stunned silence. I suddenly realized how what I said sounded and I felt like a TOTAL ass. Guy musta thought I was a perv till I eventually explained what the hell I was lookin' for.

 

You're gay huh, but you just don't know it? ....

Man..What a twit. Like.. I wouldn't know? :/
And what's with asking my sexual preference like that?
I dunno, people are strange.

Someone asked me if my glasses were really for my eyes.

I said, "No, they're magic so I can't see morons like you coming from a mile away."

Yeah, she was a blonde.

 

I've always called them hot rocks.

I mentioned something about ignorance when a girl sitting near me piped in and asked "Ignorance? What's that?"

Dumbest is a word. Stupidest is not.

 

well some caves go stright into mountains and u never end up going under ground

but i guess u could conceder a mountain ground, and u are under it so ...i dont know

is your cave even in a mountain...

 

however, it is more grammatically correct to say "more dumb"... i just move away in fear when someone says "dummest"

the dumbest question i was ever asked is... "Whats's the dumbest question that someone has asked you?" ...

 

i was working at a coffee shop and someone asked "why doesnt this cappucino taste like the ones you buy in the gas station?" come on i made it myself it didnt come out of a machine for starters.............
