http://112.170.78.145:50000/chosun Warning: When I first tried that link my PC prompted me to download something or save it as some shit to my computer.. F-that. I copied and pasted the link into my VLC media player as a stream and played it. Works OK there for me. I've heard people complain about thier PC freezing up. Just stream the media and don't download anything. It does get sticky sometimes, but I just hit stop and then play to get it started again if I have to. Most times it just buffers itself out. I can only stand to watch a few minutes of this stuff at a time, lol. What do you see? Right now I'm watching an all girl band doing a concert for the troops. Edit: That seems to be over now and some kind of news is on.. BTW, I think they shut it off at night (their time) because a few times I've tried to watch there's been the old colored stripes and tone thing. I'm not sure what their time zone is. Any translators here??
Thanks. The bars and tone are back on again now, dammit. That concert was pretty good. The three singers reminded me of the twin singers in the Japanese movie Mothra. And the band had some pretty up to date instruments too.
If it is KCTV 23:10-16:30 Fade Out Black, 8-bar Test Pattern with 1khz tone (tone but still black screen starts about 1.5 minutes after black screen start and lasts about 10s at which point RF signal is completely cut; RF transmission begins again 21min later the content of this transmission is bars+tone; bars without tone starts 1.25min before beginning of next program cycle) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korean_Central_Television
I just opened WMP9 and it plays fine in that..... Right now nothing is on.... (Just a color pattern with a 1k tone)
Glorious Best TV is on now! I think it started at 8 a.m. their time on Monday morning. It's 4 p.m. here on Sunday in Arizona. There was a woman on just a minute ago that was talking about something she seemed super proud of. Now it's the National anthem or something.
Now the news is on. Man, talk about a careful reading of the news from the papers in front of him. Now it's another national anthem.. again.
