Large families have their percentage of issues. I don't think we're over the rate per capita.

Maybe I'm just more honest about it than others might be.

I will say that Alcoholism runs in my family so if you don't have that disease in your genes you're really fortunate.

The problems my family has are due to Alcohol so...yeah.

I grew up in a house where we didn't talk about anything outside of those 4 walls.

It didn't help, apparently.

Getting ready for our requisite flood watch and higher wind for Friday here in Connecticut. An "insider runner" rain/wind storm is coming towards us now. Winter starts at 5:23 PM Eastern time. Despite that, it's supposed to get to about 60 F/16 C with the wind.

 

Thank you! I can't believe I made them. I was skeptical that they'd look like the picture but the powdered sugar goes on before you bake them, so it creates this ''crust'' on top.

So on the way to work today the elvis Duran show does horoscopes. My typical Thursday since early summer was drop my car off so my mom doesn't have to walk home then I walk to the brewery. But today's horoscope was "spend time with your family" so I had some tools I brought from home in delmarva to my sister. She needed a chair fixed so I did that. Then my other sister stopped by and had stuff for the Christmas party. Then i went to drop off my car where my mom was and my younger of the sisters joined me.....not sure how this is better than if I kept with my normal routine, but it was at least more interesting.

 

Oh yeah, and it became my job to buy a new Santa suit. Bonus!!! I'm fucking Santa this year!. Worst tradition ever!. Most !'s I used in a while but damn!! Do away with the Santa visit, kids will still be happy with the magic and the middle ones wont have it ruined when they know they see their uncle in a cheap suit.
