What's Happening???

I'm having my Saturday night few fingers of Famous Grouse. Shall we say half a bottle?

 

I had pancakes about 30 minutes ago. Now, I want a nap.

I've never seen them but I bought 2 albums; one which is their newest only cost $1.29 or something on amazon, lol. I liked "Vicious Delicious" from 2007, but didn't actually buy it until more recently; probably 2015 or so. So I wasn't that into them earlier on. But they seem like they would be cool live, especially with guitars, keyboards, drums, etc. I haven't been to Exchange before either, so it should be an exciting experience!

 

I don't like the name.

I went to buy a dress for my work's Christmas party and came home with a reindeer onesie instead

Took one my cats to the vet, and he needs ear surgery.

Going to be putting up the tree today, and I'm tempted to bake some cookies I saw on Food Network. I'll see where the day leads.

 

What, exactly, is wrong with kitty's ear?

 

I feel sorry for all the would-be participants in the Christmas Parades that got cancelled today due to torrential rains.

 

A benign polyp has formed deep in his ear canal, and so surgery is the only thing that will remove it. I'll have to schedule it this week.

 

How did the polyp make itself known?

 

I'm looking at Pinterest and Youtube Christmas Decor. Some of it is pretty motivational. I'm feeling a tad creative on this rainy afternoon and thinking of putting together some rustic Christmas decorations that have to be cat proof...challenging.

 

I'm about ready for a couple hours sleep. I tend to sleep in these pockets of time. Grab a few hours here and there.

 

@Aerianne's post reminds me that I was feeling creative too. I wrote a song. It goes Dmin9 to G13 to Cmaj9 to C7with9 to BbMaj7 to Bdim7 to C7 to Amin7 then back to Dmin9. It's just a chord progression. No words. I think I'm going to use it for my final project in Intro to Music Technology class though.

 

He was starting to scratch at his ear a lot, and he had some ear infections. The ear would be red and looked like mites? The vet thought medication would take care of it but upon a deeper look this last time, he has a polyp. The good news is surgery will totally take care of this issue.
