What's Happening???

I frequently feel like this.

I forget about certain meals I like.

I think it helps to keep a menu list.

 

Glad this isn't just me! I'll be hungry and for some reason unable to think of what I ever cook.

Then the other end of it I want to make three different meals at once.

To be honest if I were rich one of my indulgences might be a chef.

 

It's the most difficult for me when the weather is hot!

I'll enjoy cooking more during the Fall and Winter.

 

Good idea. Stir-fry it is.

 

I'll have to oil my wok. It's a bit rusty.

 

What even classifies as a nerdy girl? I game, I.. Dinosaur. I like stupid things, I watch cartoons and stuff. Nobody ever called me nerdy. It's because I like sports, that right there took me out of the equation of being nerdy. Now I'm just a person who watches sport, and plays games. What a loser.

When I think of nerds or geeks I think of big, dark-rimmed glasses; plainish hair; ill-fitting, mis-matched clothing; socially awkward, head stuck in some kind of reading or gaming...

Geek Chic is a thing.

 

I think it's all "cosplay" now too in definition. It's like your average schoolgirl costume isn't good enough anymore, it has to be Dragon Ball Z or something... Losers.

I actually found a costume at the adult store the other day it was like a 60s/70s grid girl uniform with the checker flag stripes and it had a patch that said "route 69" I told the miss "see this is what you should have worn after I won that race!" she agreed but the prices there are too much so I was going to look on ebay instead lol.

 

And sometimes it really is just a look.

I feel you on the organic chemistry thing. I sometimes do it too.
It's perfectly logical and it relaxes me.
Especially the nomenclature. IUPAC ftw.

Of course. We all are. Trying hard I mean. I wouldn't want to call anyone an idiot unless they would own it. But yeah. I just don't get it really.

Some of it might be relative to where you live. I grew up about a 45 mins drive from Silicon Valley, the mecca of the tech industry and currently live about 25 mins away from where Comic-Con on the West Coast is hosted, the annual convention for all things comic related, which draws as many people as a lot of music festivals.

I might have been exposed early to the burgeoning fascination with the subculture(s) and probably more immersed with them on the day-to-day but it seems to have appealed (inter)nationally for awhile now. The popularity of Comic Book Movies, Smart Phones (and other gadgets), Big Bang Theory, Video Game tournaments being shown on Sports networks, etc. most have at least spanned a decade.
