What's Happening???

yes...we have ruffed grouse and spruce grouse...i like them both ...there is more ruffed here where i live...spruce is uncommon locally unless you go more north

yesterday we got 8 ruff and 2 spruce

last weeks trip was 7 ruff and 3 spruce

 

I don’t understand how these goths can dress in all black hoodies and jeans on a hot day like this.

I always wear black... and I'm not goth.

 

You might be and just not realise it

 

I used to be all Goth. I'd wear the black clothes and the fishnets id make my face slightly whiter, purple red and black lipstick. The heels. The music. The collars. The peircings. I'm not embarrassed. I could rock that out, I looked good. Probably the best I'd actually looked was in those years.

 

Walked into a restaurant one day years ago... a booth full of goth kids stopped talking and stared at me.

 

What happened next?

 

I had dinner...

 

Goth kids are in a world of their own and are used to being stared at, so if they were staring at you, you must be pretty strange.

There were some goths in my teenage social group but we were diverse. We had hippies and normal kids and ravers too.

 

I don't know about today's goths, but back in the 90s I kind of laughed at them.

It's always interesting when whole subcultures talk, dress, think, etc. all the same. It seemed like they all sent away for the same "goth kit" that came with Anne Rice novels, black clothes, corsets, fake vampire teeth, Cure tapes, and VHS copies of The Craft.

Ah, the 90s...

I'm not really invested in baseball enough to actually care, but we all got swept up in Dodger fever last fall, plus they do a lot for the LGBT community.
