Exactly other than rip tides south of the cape, Florence has nothing whatsoever to do with the series of gas explosions..


Btw: The gas lines are currently being depressurized by Columbia Gas who were seen doing work in the area earlier on Thursday just prior to the explosions.

This story is so incredibly horrifying.

I wonder if the same company did the gas line upgrades that did my neighborhood a few months ago. I can't remember the name off-hand but I remember one of them said they were working all over the place. That individual's work truck had Texas plates, for example.

 

Fortunately they only provide gas to 6 states listed on the link below:

It's incredible 75 homes either blew up or the gas ignited which caused a fire.

well, the fridge stinks. i dunno what she's got in there, but it stinks. and the stink, has attached itself to hole i drink out of, in my beer bottles.

 

seems like the big news on the other coast, is about that storm.
my clock says its friday so i'm guessing everything on or near that coast that was going to get washed away has been by now.
finally got to watch some of it on youtube.

the only thing right where i am, (inland side of the sierras/edge of great basin)
is its finally cooled down enough to turn off the cooler.

There isn't going to be any alcohol, so I don't know why I'm going.

I never pictured Piaf to be a drinker tbh. So I'm surprised the lack of alcohol at the function or venue would be detrimental to the function at the venue.

 

It's a Turkish thing, so I hope there'll be at least baklava, tea and coffee.
