I just PMed Skip and asked him if he could change it for me.

 

I woulda said the Lakers, but Paul George threw a monkey wrench into that.

I'd say it's Houston, Philly or staying in Cleveland. OKC could be a wild card too. Bron, Melo, George and Russel Westbrook would make a scary team.

 

Why does Paul George not going to the Lakers change Lebron's plan? I don't get this... and I've heard sports analyst more or less allude to it as well, so I'm asking more in a general sense. They all say he wants to live there and if he's such a transformational talent like all the analyst that gush over him claim to be, I don't get why it'd make that much of a difference.

LOL, I thought the same thing when she posted that (asking Skip to change the name).

 

Because I thought the idea was he wanted to go to a team with which he could win another championship. The Lakers were a viable option only if they could land another star though. Everyone assumed that was PG. So when he re-signed with the Thunder, LA became a less attractive option for LeBron.

Then again, there's also talk LeBron wants to have some sort of post basketball career in the entertainment industry and that retiring from LA will make that transition easier.

I don't know and I don't much care. I'd have more respect for him if he stuck it out in Cleveland, but should he go to the Lakers and make them a championship caliber team again, it reignites the old Celtics-Lakers rivalry again. So that's cool.

Kyrie and the Celtics vs. LeBron and the Lakers in the finals? That'd be a great match up.

Personally I think Philadelphia has all those qualities. Hmm...

Yah me too, I think Philadelphia becomes the favorite of the East by a landslide if he goes there.

Not so fast. If he goes to Philly, Ainge does whatever it takes to get Kwai Leonard without having to give up Tatum, Horford, Irving and potentially Hayward.

I'd bet on it. I think what LeBron does, shapes the entire off-season for everyone
