I just got back from Cyprus where the weather has been the worst in living memory, to fucking snow! Can't catch a break at all!
Some good news though. When I saw my surgeon just before I left he said he wanted a new MRI scan to assess the next move. Fucking appointment in 2 and a bit weeks! Thought I would have to wait ages! Happy days!

We've got 2 officers, maybe 3, shot and a hostage killed with the shooter barricaded in a house in town.

My daughter's work is having to shelter in place.

They even shut down the interstate.

They have more hostages. . . A teen and a pregnant woman.

 

It's been reported that the 2 police officers are in stable condition.

I washed my new haircut. The stylist gave me the full blow dry, curling iron, and some kind of spray treatment. She said it was to see how my long bangs were going to lay.

I can't wear my hair like that on the daily. I like wash and wear hair.

He was fixed, chipped and registered just before christmas.
He's been able to come out of his hiding spot and say hi to me.

 

The active shooter situation is still ongoing.

My daughter got home from work and the house that's involved is 9 miles away from us by roadways.

 

There's a blackout on what's happening and the people of the county are going crazy wanting to know what's going on. I'm a moderator on the County Neighborhood Watch page. I know exactly what's going on but I can't tell anyone.

 

Oh, and a mother wrote in trying to find the name of an officer who got into her car when it was stopped in front of that subdivision.

He got in to comfort her 10 year old daughter who was crying. He sang to her and held her because there were about 60 vehicles coming at them from all directions with their sirens blasting.

That's how big this thing is.

 

As serious as that situation is and I certainly hope the COPS pull through OK, we’ve had 5 such similar stand-offs here in New England in just the past seven days.


In the most serious stand-off the primary shooter was killed, he ran out of the building like he was fucking Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid and was gunned down by the police,
the other two people he was with took pot-shots at the police from inside the building. When the police rushed the building they committed suicide.

 

The latest police release says what I already knew. He will not confirm the well-being of his teenage hostage, nor the 8 month pregnant girlfriend who is believed 12 hours dead already in the garage.

The police shot gas into the house and he kept shooting.

They probably already have him.

My source isn't on right now.

She said they shot Papa Smurf into the house after the normally used gas didn't phase him. Papa Smurf will penetrate a gas mask.

The police reports are lagging behind by several hours from what I have already learned.

 

On a happier note -

I will be at the ultrasound appointment with my daughter in 8 hours!
