Then
Uber.....

Hopefully it doesn't take me 3 hours to get home.....

We went grocery shopping.

Hubby bought 2 more magnums of wine. He's currently a wino but is looking to become an alcoholic. He wants some rum and/or tequila.

He had an alcohol free day this week and behaved terribly.

He can't handle no alcohol once he starts having a little.

Good grief.

Just melting away in a hot bath, sweating out all that extra water weight from the whiskey cola cans, although it was sugar free cola so I shouldn't have to feel as bad as I would if it were just cola. I do not think I will last very long in here though, 5mins in and it's already too much.

I just read an interesting article about how it is possible to form strong and stable connections (halogen bonds) between some of the heavier elements of an increasingly metallic nature in the periodic table. Like...no lighter elements that we are used to, such as oxygen, nitrogen....so I thought that's pretty cool. Not my thing, but still interesting.

And the other day, I read one about a new type of folding. There are these complex folding molecules that emerge spontaneously from simple building blocks. And these building blocks are not linked by amine bonds, but only by disulphide bonds. So it's a completely different folding pattern than the usual two that proteins do.

Science is comforting.
It makes me feel better.
Dumb. But better.

this happens when de-ice chemicals are not vented.. they can get inside the cabin making people sick, tho not dangerous . not to say they are not all that harmful if you go to a hospital..
