Hubby just brought in a spent bottle rocket that was in our yard. That thing came from about 300 yds away last night.

I'm wondering if they are going to crank up with the fireworks tonight.

 

It's been oddly quiet around here this weekend... Not that I mind. I just have to wonder what's up with that.

 

Maybe the rapture.

 

There is the usual pops here. Not a lot but every few seconds to minutes.

 

I miss the good fireworks this year because of work, but I won't miss the ones going off for the next week and a half that keep me awake.

More like saving the ammo for something else... That's what spooks me.

 

They finally got finished here, I hope.

 

I guess grandpa was right again. I didn't see any rain but the street is wet with puddles.

 

Just did my bill pays on line.

Time for some oatmeal so I can take ibuprofen.

So far so good on the foot this morning!

 

Spent most of the morning somewhere between dimension "B" and dimension "C"





Too bad I was supposed to be in dimension "A"




At least I got some stuff watered... I think.

 

I bathed the kitten, also.

Add that to my list.

There is a list because hubby is sitting next door with 5 grandkids and I'm not there yet.

I've been busy.


My toilet has to get fixed. For days, it's been leaking where the tank sits on the stool. I have towels on the floor to keep from slipping.

Hubby can't get to it. He told me yesterday that he was too busy to eat. He's busy watching youtube - Hand to Jesus, he is.

 

It could be sweating and not leaking.... Cold water + hot air equals condensation.

 

At the airport, waiting for E and F to arrive. Feeling emotional.

 

Waiting for E and F..... Sounds like a Sesame Street thing.

Vacuuming.... I'm done for the day. and I only did one room. Fuckall

 

It's leaking. He's already looked at it and bought some stuff to fix it but "hasn't had a chance yet".

 

We had a good rain!


I think I caught the kitten's eye infection.
