I'm also making a potato salad for Xmas lunch.
And we have two huge bits of pork belly we will cook up with and it's going to be awesome too. I'm thinking just potato salad, with too much bacon and then the pork belly and some other sausages with bread.

 

I'd call that "Pigging Out"!

We are too though. Pork Roast on Christmas Eve and Ham on Christmas...I should have a bacon breakfast in between, lol

 

Christmas makes me get emotional and a little weepy.

I love being with my kids and grandkids and watching them open presents but I'll be glad when these waves of emotion have passed.

 

Just one state over to Arizona to visit my family

 

Got a ticket about a week ago. Maybe 10 days ago.

I think next year i'm just going to plan a trip to NYC for Christmas

I hate all the running around on holidays. We have a Christmas Eve brunch today and a dinner tonight, but i just want to stay home and make sugar cookies and watch movies.

 

I have to go to the freaking store.

I didn't check to see if we needed more cat food before going to the store yesterday evening.

Hubby was feeding the cats and dog while I was making a list. I asked if we were going to need more dog food and he said we did. Neither of us mentioned cat food. I guess I assumed he'd tell me if we did; he probably assumed I had it on the list.

do forum games have a winner? i thought they just went on forever and ever and ever.

 

We put our house guest to work.

He said, we need electrical outlets outside under pergola.

I said, yeah I dunno how to do that.

He said, take me to a hardware store and I'll go it.

So we did. He did all the electrical wiring. I did the masonry through the wall, Laura held the torch and did all the small hands jobs.

Now we have a four way electrical outlet under the pergola. And it wasn't that hard either. I just never played with wires but literally red green blue went to red green and blue and tighten down with a screw Frittz' ya uncle.

Then he wanted to play pool with me. I'm happy to say I won 5/5 games. and remain unbeaten on my table since my first game where I tech fouled. Although in my last game I forgot to nominate black pocket. He said he won. I told him we don't play American rules 'round here boy!

Now one hour until Xmas day.

 

How many hand jobs did she do?

 

She wrapped her hand around one big thick, black MAG torch and didn't let go.

Also wire cutters and long nosed pliers. =p

I don't know what that refers to. Was it the pool table? Cause I'll come play you at pool if you wanna travel down that route.
