What's Happening?

It is this late, and the house is not cooling down at all. It is awful in here....uncomfortable......I had the window air conditoner on in the room where I was watching tv, and that did not even help much. Pugs are pretty dragged and unenergetic today. This crap is very draining, and I hear it is going to be a terrible summer with the heat and temperatures this year.

Gotta get some gardening done before the storms this afternoon...


They have been calling for storms for a week and they haven't happened. Should I expect one today?

 

What sort of temps did you reach up there?

 

It is a bit more pleasant here because we're getting a light breeze.

My house is on only window units for air conditioning now and they really don't make it feel any better unless it's like 90 or above outside. Then being about 80 in the house feels better.

My old boyfriend is coming to see me late tonight.

 

No AC here.... They were removed and the windows reinstalled the first year I lived here. If you understand how this house functions it cools itself.

Ferns and Hostas are in the ground and the five bags of mulch is down. Gonna need another 5 bags.

 

I don't really need AC, have never owned even a window unit. But I live in New England, so the heat isn't so oppressive as in the south.

 

I had a beautiful Fern and Hosta garden for alot of years then the dogs tread down some of the Ferns and the freaking Voles ate the Hostas.

I've got a few survivors that I'm thinking of starting another area with, away from dog feet, but I have to find out how to combat the Voles.

 

Hot as hades here. There seems to be no moderate this season again. I love the heat but the humidity is a little much but at least the central air manages to keep it ok for sleeping. I see changes to the board again and it is so refreshing to come in to just read and see nothing but sex threads as most threads are not visible until you sign in........lol

Working on healing still and I think I am getting there. Fingers crossed.

90's...and it would be one thing if it was dry heat....but the humidity is what makes it terrible....heavy, oppressive, unbreathable air.......the mosquitoes are flourishing like crazy......and are hungry.......Nights are not cooling down like they usually do.....This weather is dangerous for pugs...80 degrees and higher is dangerous....so they are only getting small spirts of exercise now....and that about does them in for the day.......I can take it, and might have to do most of the 5 miles alone these days, and from what I gather now, for most of most of the summer.
It is rough on the golden, Sully, as well....

 

If these beings exist and are visiting this planet.......and i think they may be....a high form of intelligence coming here for something this planet has that they need.....I think they are farming this planet for whatever, if they are here......

 

They dropped off Big Foot here, too...probably....

 

*Sigh...

My friend isn't coming to see me tonight after all.
