    Thank you:)

Actually it's not too bad. I get to see the daylight from my windshield, on my hour long drive to work. Plus, there is no management at work on night shift.

I'm learning about Feng Shui for my house and contemplating how I need to move things around.

Other than that, I'm trying to feed my outdoor cats without feeding the ferals because they need to eat at the trap.

My son "kid" napped our new goat from his dad's house.

He was coming home from a cancelled ball tournament on Sunday morning, going right past his dad's house. He called his dad because he'd been promising this goat to him for weeks.

His dad didn't answer the phone so my son just went to his house anyway. It was only 7:30 Sunday morning but these are church-going people. No one came out the whole time that my son and oldest granddaughter were there rounding up this goat.

His dad didn't notice all day Sunday that this goat was gone, nor did he wonder why his son had called at 7:15 on Sunday morning.

My son had to leave a voicemail today, telling his dad that he'd gotten the goat.

Well, dear old dad, returned his call tonight and told him that he'd gotten the wrong black goat. He had been telling him that he could have a young male and my son took a year old female, lol

His dad is stingy - always has been. He told him that he could bring the goat back and swap because he really wanted that female. This man has about 40 goats.

My son told him that he didn't know when he could get back down to do the swap.

The the ol' man told him that he could take the male and keep the female and try to let them mate so that when they had babies my son could bring this female back to him (why does he like this particular goat so much?).

My son's feelings are hurt because his dad is sounding so stingy and weird.

Finally, his dad told him that he could just keep the goat if he wanted to but my son said his voice sounded otherwise.

I told him to keep the damn goat out of spite.

That man has been stingy my childrens' whole life.

I'm going to need something stronger than coffee. Anyone have a stun gun?

I usually only drink coffee at work - right as I begin doing my thing. It will be 5 hours before my first cup. Until then I'll only ready about coffee here, lol

Lol, yes. I have trouble working nights. I'll take something tomorrow after work if I wake up early again. That will carry me through to friday morning.

I'm still in my bed trying to go back to sleep though. Sometimes I can catch another nap before 2:30 when I get up. If I wasnt't a compulsive early bird, I could wait until 4 to get up.

    Thank you:)

Actually I only work 7 nights in a six week period, so it's not too bad. This is my longest stretch - 4 nights... then 3 days, 3 nights, then 4 days. I get at least a day off between the swings though.

Does your son work straight 3rds? I hear thats pretty tough.

He was on it for about 4 years.

Then he moved up in management.

He had to do a short stent a couple of months ago but that's just an emergency type thing.

He's been with Toys R Us at the distribution center for almost 15 years.

That's great that he moved up, and he's not on 3rds permanently. Odd shifts can cause all kinds of health problems in the long run.

Hopefully I only have 7 years until retirement. I'm trying to keep my health until then.
