I know what you mean. I have a few that are quite high in price right now, but i still cannot let them go....I tell you, they possess me.....lol
I forgot American girl dolls also hold their value if you keep them in good condition.....and I do. I take care of all my collections of dolls, but I have a hard time letting them go, too. I might sell the one from france for the Christmas season, as she is still NIB.
I will never forget when I first got into American Girl dolls...i found one at a rummage sale, and she was not perfect...her hair was a mess, but I was intrigued by her. She was so different....and then i figured out who she was....and then my buying spree for them went bananas.....I read all of the books and their stories are all charming and that makes me love each character more....

i went through their clothes last night...still NIB...and am going to list a bunch of those things..i was hoping today...but have not gotten to that yet.....I am having too much fun doing other things.....My ebay is a full time job now, and I am meeting lots of new, wonderful people on ebay now, too....

Now, as for the more expensive dolls at purchase...like Himstedt and Lasher BJD's.....exorbitant prices for them new...but go to sell one. I am lucky if I am getting half of what i paid back...and never should have bought many of them in the first place. I blame the doll forum I used to belong to for that, though...and everyone's beautiful photos and then it was like a group hypnosis...i have to have that doll, too....I am glad himstedt stopped making dolls and I got out of that forum...I should never have sold my American indian Dernea, though, by Himstedt...she is one I should have kept....out of all of them....20/20 hindsite always....

Actually, hubby had to shit andk apparently, throw up the kratom he put in his tea. Now, that pisses me off. He threw up because he made the tea too strong. It would have happened without the kratom. He's a dumbass and he wasted kratom.

    Off with his head!

Just a little while ago, something came up in a sidebar somewhere that said to ride a roller coaster to dislodge kidney stones.

    Hope you feel better.

It’s weird it’s like everyone I know has come down with a cold.[IMG]

Very unusual for this time of the year

Pen, I hope your pain stays away!

    Thanks, HW

Many years I've ended up with bronchitis during this time of year. It's the ragweed allergy.

That being said, my daughter was diagnosed with a viral bronchitis. I haven't been around her but there is definitely one of those going around here.

It’s fall it’s a time for apple picking, decorating the house, High School, College, and NFL Football,
raking the leaves, getting sick on leftover Halloween candy, fun stuff like that - not being laid up with some bug
