I've been after this girl for a few months now, and I still don't know whats going on. For the first few months I was interested, her brother who I'm pretty good friends with, told me that she had a boyfriend who was a drug dealer who made a good amount of money. I never heard her say anything about him, so I started to doubt his existance, but her brother kept up with it, so I didn't know what to believe. So about a month ago, I finally get the truth, that its just a guy she hangs out with, its her best friends brother, so of course shes going to be over there. I don't know why he would lie to me about it, except to discourage me, which makes me feel pretty shitty, I'd never do that to a friend. So I asked her out a few weeks ago, and she said that she had alot going on in her family and with school and that she wanted to wait on that stuff for now. A few other things were said, and then I jokingly asked her, "If you don't like me, just say so" and she replied "I don't like anyone, I'm just not thinking about guys right now". She HAS had alot of homework, about 2-3 hours at least most nights, and shes also working at an ice cream parlor. I just don't know what to think at this point, but I'm going to ask her again a little while after school gets out. Any advice would be appreciated
